Hemry Didn't Care about Domestic Animals

This work was made using photocopy technology. Originally I drew forty different animals in black pen, painted them haphazardly using red watercolour and then photocopied each, along with a speech bubble, onto a variety of origami papers. Each animal was then given something to say such as: She was decidedly more excited about the revealing of the final cylon than anything to do with daleks; He was almost certainly going to die of detritusacademitis; He bought everyone dead birds for Christmas; and We were slightly confounded that we needed to be Christian to shop there. These statements were taken from my own Facebook status updates of the past.
I felt this entire work, although entertaining, was self-indulgent and immature. Upon selling most of these works, I did not decide to remake them.
